Before you decide

Will this make my outreach feel robotic or inauthentic?

The opposite, actually. Without a tool, most people default to the same generic messages: 'Hey, long time no talk!' or 'Hope you're doing well!' Our AI drafts are specific: they reference the article you're sharing, the contact's role, your shared history. They're a starting point, not a final product. Edit them into your own voice, or use them as-is. A personalized message about something relevant to that person will always feel more human than a generic 'just checking in.'

I don't trust AI with my relationships. Will it send things without my approval?

Good instinct, and we agree completely. The AI never sends anything on your behalf. Every suggestion is a draft you review, edit, and choose to send yourself. Think of it like having a thoughtful friend who says, 'Hey, you should reach out to Sarah. Here's why and what to say.' You still decide. You still personalize. AI handles the pattern-matching across hundreds of contacts. Your relationships stay yours.

How is this different from Dex?

Dex is a solid contact manager. Where Awesome Contacts diverges is the Serendipity Engine: the AI layer that actively matches content, opportunities, and context to your contacts. Dex reminds you to stay in touch. We tell you why, with whom, and what to say. Our 10 generators each represent a different relationship-building pattern, from introductions to gratitude to content sharing. It's the difference between a reminder system and a relationship intelligence platform.

How it works

What are AI credits?

Credits power the Serendipity Engine. Every time we match opportunities, generate introductions, or craft personalized messages, a small number of credits are used. Credits reset each month and unused credits do not roll over.

How does intake access work?

We open a new cohort every Friday. Limited spots per intake. Apply now and if accepted you're locked in at founder pricing. Rates will increase once we open up publicly, so applying early means you pay less forever.

Can I change plans later?

Yes. Upgrade or downgrade at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle so you always get what you paid for.

What happens when I reach my credit limit?

AI-powered features (matching, message generation) pause until your credits reset at the start of the next month. Your contacts, interactions, and data remain fully accessible at all times.

What is API & MCP access?

All paid plans include access to the Awesome Contacts REST API, MCP server (for AI assistants like Claude), and CLI tool. Connect your contact intelligence into any workflow or AI agent.

Is my data safe?

Your data is stored securely on Supabase (PostgreSQL) with encryption at rest and in transit. We never use your contact data to train AI models. Your network is yours alone.
